WELCOMING MESSAGE.
Dear all THS Ex-Students out there, I would like to welcome you all to this very first issue of the THS Ex-Students Newsletter. As you would have noticed by now, our web site is up and running and some are already using the forum to leave messages on it. The site is still in its developing stages and I am sure it will grow as time goes by. As this is the first issue, I would therefore ask for your patience. An attempt has been pursued to get news from Tonga High School but with no luck yet. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you out there who have given positive feedback for our web site. A lot of work still remain to be done to our web site and you are all welcome to contribute. It is hoped that we will have more for you in the next issue.

"This is great, and thanks for the hard work! I will try to see if I can write up articles and be the contact person from here on but I think I have to get everyone's approval. We have not had anything going for the past two years since the Golden Jubilee visit and we do not have a formal ex-students committee set up yet...hopefully soon...anyway, I will still get you updated on my classes' get together...I am currently in contact via e-mail with one of my classmates in Australia, Fotu Valeli Fisi'iahi and others like James Panuve in Hong Kong, Feonisia Sikalu and Balwyn Fa'otusia in Tonga."

A few words from Mr Cole:
"Hello to you and all the ex-students or the THS Community. My name is Paea Cole (Lavulo). It is wonderful to communicate with you guys out there. I live in Layton, Utah and am involved with the THS Salt Lake City Ex-students. We have fun here as a group of ex-students of THS. Other members names are Lupe Prescott (Malohifo'ou), Sione 'Akau'ola, Supi Ma'ilei, Paula Fisi'inaua, Lavinia Fuka, Funaki Fonua (Kefu), Mele Tupouniua, Taniela Mahanga Lavulo. Taniela was recently in Tonga with the US army in the month of May.
Anyway, add those names to your list if you may, and I will write back with more names if I can remember them. You ALL take care for now and hope to hear from you."
