WORDS FROM THE WEBMASTER:
Welcome to the October issue of the THSESWS newsletter. It has been a pleasure to see
so many of our ex-students using the Lalo Kasia Forum as well as the Paini Mutu Chat Room.
Starting on the last week of September was the first of a series of the so-called "TOPIC OF THE MONTH". It is overwhelming to see so many great ideas put forward by many of our ex-students. The topic regarding the computer teachers at Tonga High School has been a fascinating one to discuss. It is hoped that the current administration and the Ministry of education would take notice of the relevant points discussed by the ex-students.
Ideas on the "The Topic Of The Month(October) regarding the establishment of a University for Tonga has raised a lot of interesting ideas. The excellent views and fantastic opinions put forward has gone to show how useful a forum like ours in stating what we think beneficial to our country and more importantly - the education of the people of Tonga. It is also encouraging to see that eventhough we do not all agree with each other but our disagreements in certain aspects of opinions bear no hard-feelings among our fellow debators. At the end of the day, we all agree to disagree and everyone is happy and no ill-feelings. This is a tribute to the THS spirit. Well done to you all.
To keep these excellent discussions going the THSESWS must come up with some good topics to discuss. I therefore ask you all to please send me some ideas on potential topics to be discussed as part of the "Topic of the Month" series. The creater of each topic would then have his or her name acknowledged for his or her intellectual ideas.
Finally, the THSESWS would also like to welcome the chapter of Auckland and that of Waikato it is hoped that other chapters who have not submitted the list of their members may do so in the near future.

I think 'Amelia Pitau deserves a big applause for this article. As stated by 'Amelia, their chapter is more than happy to help out in giving you a copy of their constitution so that your chapter can use it or get some ideas from. Remember, you are welcome to ask 'Amelia for a copy. I also want to personally thank 'Amelia, for the great work she has done in writing articles for our monthly newsletters. I must also emphasize here that the THSESWS would also welcome articles from any of the ex-students.
My friends, do not hide your articles, share with us please !
