WORDS FROM THE WEBMASTER & OUR NEWSLETTER EDITOR:
Welcome to the THSESWS monthly newsletter for the month of December 2001. First of all, I must take this opportunity to thank our Internet Service Provider (www.ionline.net.au) owns by Albert Quach and Seini Pulupapalangi Vea Quach. As you all know, having a website of the magnitude such as that of THSESWS generates an enormous amount of traffic which means, higher running cost in terms of maintenance and hosting. However, we have been fortunate enough to have Mr and Mrs Quach paid for the expenses for the year 2001. To continue this excellent service that we have provided for you all, we would like your support in terms of financial help. Please, if you do have some spare cash floating around the house then remember that the THSESWS would probably need it.

This month has been a very busy month indeed. Everyone is caught up with the preparations for Christmas and the New Year celebrations. In the midst of all these, the THSESWS still managed to continue the services to all Tonga High School Ex-students throughout the globe. At the mean time, New Zealand is steaming ahead with their preparation for next year and from what we have gathered, everything is going according to plan.

I must take this opportunity to thank ever single one of you who have contributed directly or indirectly to the THSESWS, your contributions have made it possible for us to continue to share the vast intellectual resources, friendship and love. Thank you all!

I must thank the THSESWS team, especially Albert Quach and 'Amelia Piutau for the continual support, advice and professional help in making sure the the THSESWS (a non-profit organisation) retains its good reputation as the most educational Tongan Web Site on the net. Well done guys.
Finally, on behalf of the THSESWS team - I must take this opportunity to wish every Tonga High School Ex-students throughout the world a "Merry Christmas and a Properous New Year".

ANNUAL PRE-CHRISTMAS BBQ IN MELBOURNE
On December,23 of every year in Melbourne - Loseli, relatives and friends get together for a pre-Christmas party. Some members of the Melbourne Chapter were invited to the party but could not make it and therefore they missed out!

There is nothing to remind us of our homeland but to have a puaka tunu!

It does not matter where you are in the world, you can still have a Tongan traditional feast!
